Technical evidence centre

Validation that is precise, traceable and investor-ready.

Greenovo's current evidence base includes a GMC-authorised field pilot, an Assam Pollution Control Board recommendation and an IISER Kolkata review of the pilot data submitted for validation.

What the documents actually establish

Each item below is worded to reflect the scope of the underlying document without overstating certification or regulatory status.

500 m²

Guwahati Municipal Corporation-authorised pilot area at Belortol Swacchata Kshetra, Boragaon.

Apr–Jun 2025

Trial period recorded by the Assam Pollution Control Board recommendation letter.

60+ days

Period over which IISER's review says significant methane reduction was reflected in the submitted data following initial injection.

Assam Pollution Control Board recommendation letter

Assam Pollution Control Board

Recommendation for wider consideration

The Board's letter records Greenovo as a Government of Assam-recognised startup, notes GMC authorisation for the 500 m² pilot, and describes the deployed method as a pipe biological solution recharge system using selected microbial consortia.

According to the letter, the findings demonstrate a solution that is technically sound, cost-effective and scalable for landfill methane management, and the Board recommends that authorities, institutions and funding bodies consider supporting wider deployment.

Scope note

This is a recommendation/endorsement letter. It should not be described as a blanket statutory approval, nationwide product licence or TRL certificate.

IISER Kolkata validation letter

IISER Kolkata

Review of submitted methane-reduction data

The 17 January 2026 letter refers to Greenovo's request for validation of results from the 500 m² Boragaon pilot and reviews annexures and supporting information supplied to IISER.

Landfill surface1000–1900 ppmbaseline methane range stated in the reviewed measurements
Surrounding atmosphere>5320 ppmreported baseline concentration in submitted data
Post-treatment0 ppm in many corer zoneswith surrounding atmosphere reported at 0–3200 ppm
Interpretation note

The letter states that the study was reproducible based on the data provided. For institutional investment or formal technology certification, Greenovo should additionally pursue independent sampling, chain-of-custody testing, substrate characterisation and formal TRL assessment.

Next evidence layer

From positive validation to bankable diligence

The next stage should convert promising field evidence into a repeatable, independently auditable technical package.

01

Substrate analysis

Waste composition, moisture, pH, C/N ratio, organic fraction, leachate chemistry, heavy metals and microbial baseline.

02

Independent gas monitoring

Calibrated methane/CO₂/O₂/H₂S/VOC measurement, control zones, chain of custody and statistical interpretation.

03

Repeatability

Multiple plots, seasonal runs, dosing documentation and repeatable outcomes across different landfill conditions.

04

Formal TRL position

Evidence-mapped assessment against a recognised TRL framework without self-certifying maturity.
